Tagging your Blog
The reason as to why blogging has become so popular over the recent years is the fact that a lot of people like to exchange information about a lot of things. People have not only taken to writing and sharing their interests, but they have also indulged in reading and exploring the lifestyles and perspectives of friends and strangers alike. Through comments, there is a regular interchange of ideas and thoughts between the author(s) of the blog and the readers at large.
Tagging involves assigning the closest and most relevant categories to your post. This enables people to identify your posts as per their interests and perspectives. If you classify your post under a relevant tag, then you will have more number of visitors on the blog. The main thing is to attract attention and make the people identify themselves with the posts that you create. You could upload photographs, music, videos, and your own personal accounts, or open a discussion forum on a wide range of topics such as politics, surrealism, philosophy, music, personalities, a common practice, etc. Just make sure that you tag the posts on your blog. Sometimes it may happen that though your blog is dedicated to one category, there could be some sub-categories within. For example, let’s say that if your blog is dedicated to marketing, then you could write posts relating to sub-categories like Consumer Psychology, Inflation, Foreign Goods, etc. Thus every single post of yours can have a lot of topics, and attract readers to that post. Sometimes a proper tag can ensure more traffic over your blog. Tagging helps you also to sort out your posts and creations belonging to one particular genre, interest or type of the topics. This adds to more clarity and better visibility over the internet for so many readers who search for such tags. If your tags are right, they can be displayed in a search string.
